Editorial boudoir
for women who value strength, softness, and a little edge.

You didn’t become this version of yourself by accident.
She deserves better than iPhone photos.
Intimate portraits in Newcastle, Sydney and Beyond

You will never be this exact woman again.

Not this age.
Not this mindset.
Not this combination of strength and softness.
You can let this season pass.
Or you can make sure it’s documented properly.

So… Was It Awkward?

"PECK!!!

These photos are STUNNING. I am genuinely blown away by the final result.

The whole experience was so comfortable, easy and fun. I loved how we started mostly covered; it gave me time to settle in and find a groove with posing.

You didn’t over-compliment or make it awkward. You just gave clear direction and adjusted things until we got the best shots. It felt stress-free and natural.

I thought it would feel serious. Instead, I was having fun the whole time.

I’m so grateful I did this. I can’t wait to look back at these when I’m older because this shoot made me feel beautiful in a way I didn’t expect.

I hope other women take the plunge."

SO… WHAT IS EDITORIAL BOUDOIR?

It’s boudoir without pretending to be someone else.
Yes, I guide you.
Yes, I adjust and refine.
But we’re not building a character.
We’re building strong shapes.
Natural movement.
Images that look intentional.
You don’t need to know how to pose.
You don’t need to “perform sexy.”
You just show up as you.
I’ll shape the rest.
Hey, I'm Peck!
I photograph women who’ve outgrown “cute.”
I don’t chase trends.
I set a standard.
I’m a male photographer.
Comfort is built in.

" I was so nervous walking in. I'd never done anything like this before. But as soon as I met Peck and he started talking through his ideas, I felt instantly reassured. He promised he'd guide me through everything, and he absolutely did.
Peck created such a comfortable environment that I could just be myself and express however I was feeling in the moment. And the photos? I loved every single one. They made me feel so much more at ease and comfortable in my own body.."

Lace is optional. Presence isn’t.

You Don’t Have To Be A “Lingerie Girl.”

A lot of women tell me,
“I don’t do lace.”

Perfect.

Jeans and a tank.
A dress you feel powerful in.
A mini skirt.
Swimwear.
Or nothing at all.

This isn’t about lingerie.
It’s about presence.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I’ve never done anything like this before. Is that okay?
More than okay. It’s the norm.
Most women who book haven’t done a shoot like this before. You don’t need experience, confidence, or any idea what to do. You’ll be guided the whole way, and we ease into it at a pace that feels right. Feeling nervous at the start is standard.
What actually happens during a session?
We start slow. Usually fully dressed, getting comfortable, finding a rhythm. I'll play your favorite tunes. I’ll guide you through movement and positioning the entire time. There’s room to pause, laugh, reset, and just exist for a bit.
No rushing. No pressure to “perform.”
Do I need to know how to pose?
No. That’s literally my job. I’ll guide you through everything. Where to sit, how to move, when to slow down. You don’t need to memorise poses or practise in the mirror beforehand.
What should I wear?
We’ll talk through this before your session. I'll send you an outfit guide. Most women bring a mix of something comfortable, something they feel good in, and maybe something a little bolder. There’s no requirement for lingerie unless you want that. Editorial Boudoir doesn’t mean revealing. It means intentional.
I’m not confident in my body. Is this still for me?
Yes. You don’t need to arrive feeling confident. Confidence tends to show up during the session. This isn’t about changing you or hiding you. It’s about photographing you in a way that feels honest and flattering.
You’re a male photographer. Should I be concerned?
It’s a fair question. Comfort comes first here. Always. We move at your pace, you stay in control the entire time, and nothing happens without your say-so.
If something doesn’t feel right, we adjust. Simple as that.
How private is the session?
Completely. I only ever share images you’ve explicitly approved.
Even though I take the photos, you have the final say on what’s shared online or if anything is shared at all. No exceptions.
How do images and albums work?
Each package includes a set number of 5x7 prints. After your shoot, you’ll have a reveal session where you see the full gallery and choose what you’d like to keep. Additional images and albums are optional and purchased at that point. Most women choose to add more once they see their images. The average spend on images and Magazines is around $1195.
Will you retouch my photos?
Yes. Thoughtfully. I retouch for tone, light, and polish, not to change who you are. Skin still looks like skin. You still look like you. If there’s something specific you’re worried about, we can talk about it.
Where are you based? Do you travel?
I mainly shoot in Sydney and Newcastle. That said, I’m very happy to travel if the shoot and location make sense. If you’ve got somewhere in mind, just ask and we’ll talk it through.
Can I book a session if I’m pregnant?
Absolutely. Pregnancy sessions are welcome and approached with the same calm, guided energy. We go at your pace, take breaks when needed, and shape the session around how you’re feeling on the day.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes. If having someone there helps you feel more comfortable, that’s completely fine. I usually suggest they hang out in another room during the shoot itself, just so you’re not distracted and can properly settle in. If you’re thinking of bringing a girlfriend who might also want to shoot, ask me about the bring-a-friend option.
Why is it called Shot by Peck?
It’s a bit of a play on words. “Shot” nods to photography and also to my military background. “Peck” is me. Simple, slightly tongue-in-cheek, and it stuck.

You’re Not This Version Forever.

You’ve outgrown “cute.”
Act like it.
You didn’t build this version of yourself to hide her.

Editorial boudoir
for women who value strength, softness, and a little edge.

I photograph editorial boudoir sessions across Sydney and Newcastle, working with women from all over New South Wales. Most sessions take place in carefully chosen Airbnbs, hotels, or private indoor locations, with occasional outdoor shoots when the setting suits the vibe. If you’re based in Sydney, Newcastle, or surrounding areas, you’re in the right place. And if you’re travelling or based elsewhere, I’m happy to chat about making it work.
