This isn't about knowing how to pose or trying to look like someone you're not. I'll guide you through the entire session from start to finish.
By the end, you'll wonder why you waited so long.
What if I'm awkward in front of the camera?
Everyone is.
For about five minutes.
Then the conversation starts, you stop thinking about the camera, and something shifts.
That's usually when the photographs everyone loves begin.
Can I keep my photos private?
Always.
Nothing is shared without your permission.
If you want your session to stay between us, it stays between us.
Do I have to wear lingerie?
Not even close.
Some women choose lingerie. Others wear denim, oversized shirts, swimwear, activewear or a favourite dress.
The outfit doesn't make the photograph.
You do.
Where do we shoot?
Every session starts with a conversation.
Once we decide the feeling we're creating, I'll choose a location that complements it.
Sometimes that's an Airbnb.
Sometimes a boutique hotel.
Sometimes it's outdoors.
The location should support the photographs. Not be the reason for them.
How do I choose what to wear?
Once you're booked, you'll receive my style guide with plenty of inspiration and ideas.
If you're still unsure, we can plan your outfits together before the shoot.
Do you only photograph women in Newcastle?
I'm based in the Hunter Valley, regularly photograph women in Newcastle and Sydney, and travel throughout Australia and overseas for sessions.
What if I book The Session and want every photograph?
That's exactly why The Feature exists.
Once you've seen your gallery, if you decide you want every edited image and your own printed editorial magazine, you can simply upgrade by paying the difference.
No pressure to decide before your shoot.
Why don't you offer a full gallery without the magazine?
Because I don't want your photographs to disappear into another folder on your phone.
The whole idea behind SHOT BY PECK is simple: magazine-worthy photographs aren't reserved for models.
Including your own professionally designed editorial magazine isn't just a product.
It's a reminder.
A reminder that these photographs deserve to be seen, held and remembered.
I'm waiting until I lose weight...
You can.
But I've photographed enough women to know that "five more kilos" usually turns into "maybe next year."
There will always be another reason to wait.

Can I bring someone with me?
I ask that sessions remain one-on-one.
It creates a more relaxed environment, keeps the focus entirely on you, and allows us to create the best photographs possible.
If you'd like someone to know where you are, you're welcome to share your live location during the shoot or simply tell them where we will be shooting and when do you expect to finish by.
What exactly do you edit?
Every image is edited for colour, light and overall finish.
Temporary blemishes and distractions are removed, but I don't reshape bodies or try to turn you into someone else.
I want you to look like the best version of yourself. Not a different person.
